Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney Collab on “FourFiveSeconds”

I’ve been dying to hear more from Kanye ever since he dropped “Only One” with Paul McCartney on New Years Day. The two have collaborated with Rihanna to make “FourFiveSeconds” which premiered earlier today.

There’s been a ton of buzz about the new track, mostly mixed reviews. Personally, I like FourFiveSeconds a lot. It has this badass country rock ballad feel to it. McCartney carries the melody beautifully. Kanye and Rihanna sound great singing together, although Rihanna carries more of the vocals.

I guess that’s why she took to Twitter to declare the song as the first glimpse at HER new music for 2015.

Rumor has it the song was supposed to debut on Yeezus 2, not Rihanna’s new album Lost Files which hopefully comes out soon. I wonder if Kanye feels salty about that one!

Rihanna hasn’t set a release date, but how dope would it be if she did a surprise album release like Beyonce?! Her RihNavy would go crazy. And so will I! 2015 is going to be a good year for music, I can feel it!

If you haven’t heard it yet, head over to SoundCloud or iTunes, it’s been removed off YouTube. You can also get it on RihannaNow.com.

  1. It has a good feel to it. I know it’s Rihanna’s track, but this makes me anticipate Kanye’s next album since Paul is helping to produce the entire thing. It should be more of that Kanye from several years back that I was really into. Also Paul is a musical genius, always was, and his ability & willingness to collab with various artists in a range of genres speaks to his greatness. This is good for Rih too, wish the song was longer though

    1. I felt the same! I kept wanting to sing along to more. I’m anxious to hear Kanye’s album because I like the way their musical sound is going (Paul and Ye). We shall see!
